It obviously affects you when you read anything other than glowing reviews about AS. I think you, like plOTZ and a few others, take it personally when someone says AS isn't on par with the best. Learn to separate yourself from your place of employment and maybe you'll see this place for what it really is. It's OK to admit that you don't work for the best darn airline in the world. I'm sure it's hard for a superior aviator such as yourself, who would never work anywhere other than the best airline. But once you can acknowledge this aint that place, we can move forward, towards making AS, at least a really good place to spend a career.
Everything you complain about is a culmination of all things: Alaska pilots, the union reps they voted for, the items those reps fought for, voting yes, voting no, voting pension rebalance & 401K going forward, the $200 hr contract, no scope, the list goes on and on. All the plights of AS are a culmination of things that pilots in your shoes allowed and/or tolerated by voting in those who represent you and then subsequently fighting for those things. And then seeing union reps end up in mgt roles. No offense, you make it sound like contract 2022 is terrible. Was anything good for you when you started? What contract did you have that worth anything in being the top/best paid in the world? And how many subsequent chances and moves did you have to make a change to all that? It's an absolute embarrassment there was zero scope until Dec 1, 2022 at a legacy airline.

Sorry, but a 20 yr guy yelling at a 1 yr guy isn't going to solve anything.
