Nobody got fired. Nobody is gonna get fired. The only guy who really *should* get fired was the ground ops guy who sent the ridiculous email to the DEN personnel, but it looks like he has a thick layer of DEI armor so he can't/won't be touched.
No, they're waiting for someone on the pilot side to really step on his dingding so they can show who is really at fault, meaning the pilots of course. Seriously, why else would they repeatedly mention sick/fatigue calls and premium labor rates, when they even admitted during the earnings call that those factors are very small compared to the other factors that cause the company financial stress?
They hate the pilots, period. Just like the USAF, the support folks hate ops (all ops not just pilots), everyone hates the pilots, MX gets blamed almost as much as pilots except they're not as cool as we are so they're a harder target, and everyone is sure it's really the ramper's fault except nobody wants to say it out loud because we treat them like crap and don't pay them much so it's just rude to blame them for anything.
