To maximize credit put all your vacation in 1 bid period and bid fdo. Take the vac payout in the vap. Let’s say that was two weeks or 70 credit. You’re now starting that bid period at 145 credit of which 63 is * 1.25. Fly as much as possible during the 12 days off. To do that it’s helpful to have the first 12 off.
That works...just be advised CS may deny open time pickups on days off as a reserve pilot, if it would make you illegal to fly on the reserve days. They're allowed to assign a hypothetical value of up 3 hours of block and 6 hours FDP for future reserve days in making that determination. Whether they do that or not is another question.
