My wife and I used to live in the DFW area, we still miss the great Mexican & BBQ from Texas.

If you are in Fort Worth, go to Uncle Julio's. They have at least two locations in the Dallas area too. We loved their food better than anywhere else. The margaritas are great--just make sure you are ready have someone else drive.

Mi Cocina was nice too, they're all over the metroplex. Now regarding Joe T's....I wouldn't go back there if dinner was free. Yeah, I know, tastes are subjective. From what I recall, Joe T's menu had only a handful of items and they wouldn't deviate. It wasn't that good anyhow. They don't take credit cards, only cash. I'm sure the IRS loves them.....anyway, at least they did have a really nice atmosphere in the outside pool and garden.
