You don't know how the internet works, how forums work, how contract negotiations work, and how hotel bidding works apparently. Please keep posting so we can add to this list...

Companies that block hotel rooms send bids out, and those bids are either ignored, countered, or accepted. The Renaissance didn't want to accept what NJA was paying. It is ALWAYS about money, and they easily would have accepted had NJA paid. It has nothing to do with tourists. We had stayed there years before COVID, had you worked there before COVID, you'd know that.

And you are literally willing to accept crappy hotels for a pay raise, you said so yourself. I am sure management has already read it, hopefully the union does too and teaches you what not to say on a public forum.
