But yes, calling in sick (even if days prior), then Ok on the first work day, maybe even before noon. Obviously some people have employed this as a grossly inappropriate way to avoid a trip. As I said, in my case, it was 100% legit, and I did use a single day of sick.
Ah. Makes sense now. Call in sick, wait for trip to get assigned to someone else, then call in well. Got it.
