DALPA tried to get an agreement, NWA's negotiators sought to protect the NWA pilots last month and didn't consider us in their proposals. If an SLI had been reached that favored NWA pilots and penalized DAL pilots do you really believe you would have been up in arms over this?
I know of no specifics on this latest deal but the DAL MEC is the smartest MEC when it comes to understanding how business works.
How did the NWA Neg. not consider the DAL Pilots? Again, I am not sparking something here, I just want it spelled out, b.c. I have not understood specifically what is thought the NWA proposal was?
Also, the last statement is Not needed, these are the statements that divide us. How can YOU really compare MEC to MEC? did you work for NWA? Are you on the Neg comm? I am not calling you out, but again, if you do not directly deal with them, you do not really know. I WANT to see a unified group that trys to do what is BEST for ALL. I understand there will be some compromise on both sides. If this is going to happen, which it probably will, then we need to work together, b.c. if we do not, WE ALL will get screwed more!
