It won't matter what pilots think. ALPA unanimously voted agains age 65. IATA and A4A donations were what got that passed. But, as usual, the business lobby was seeking short term fixes and didn't realize the unintended consequences of raising the retirement age. The number of pilots that actually make it to 65 are not what they were hoping and the number being paid disability are quite high...If they could, I think A4A would lobby for a retirement age reduction, actually.
So. You can create FB pages and write your congressional reps as much as you like. Until you donate more to their collective "campaigns" than the business lobby groups, you are wasting your time.
