Because he wasn't senior. He was at SWA for a looooong time, but that isn't the same thing as being senior. he was still bidding bottom 1/10th in MCO. And it wasn't going to get much better for another 10 years. That is a side effect of only having NB that a lot of people don't take into consideration when they do the math. You can be a line holding NB cap at any legacy at +/- 50%, because the top 1/3 is basically a different company.
