I get why folks talk politics and religion; many just are shopping for confirmation bias. It would be very interesting to do a study: how many of these conversations actually change someone's worldview/ideology/faith/or political affiliation? I would bet zero. We are pretty set in our beliefs and anyone with a glowing rectangle in their pocket is convinced they are right because google says so. I bet you can tell I had teenagers!!Lol!!
