That’s not true except for junior line holders. I haven’t been awarded over 78 hours in a long time and average 15-16 days off per month. Lots of 70 hr awards on the 737 this month too (IAH). EWR seems higher than either DEN, IAH, or ORD, but still plenty of 78 hour lines with 16 days off. If you’re junior though, you have to take what is left which means that you’re going to fly high time lines.
We are seeing different things. I audited this a few days ago to gauge my own interest, and every April line in IAH around 50% seniority is 13ish days off and 89.x hours.
