I'd agree with captande that that pay level is unsustainable over the long term, although I'm sure everyone at PSA is glad to see it extended. Will be really interesting to see what changes come about in Section 1 of the new APA contract and what that may mean for the future. If the pilot pipeline is going to be constrained for the foreseeable future that's a strong argument to bring certain flying in house and pay pilots with seniority accrual and not actual dollars.

Call me an optimist but hopefully BK is off the table for a while. That said, even if they declared tomorrow if they went after the pay rates, either at mainline or the WOs, hiring and even retention will get a lot harder.
