Southwest is a great airline. A lot of negativity on the forum because we are in contract negotiation.
I left a 777 position at a reputable foreign carrier for swa. Seeing the sunrise and sunset on the same flight gets old. Circadian rhythm change, being stuck 10/12/16h in the tube isn’t fun. Being in the bunk for hours….I’d rather fly 3 legs in a day. WB flying out of the US is mostly east/west flying so you got to ask yourself how

Even as a Junior guy in SWA, i get 15 days off a month, some unused reserve days, ability to pick up. Other buddies in res at UA, can’t pick up extra and get more cash. Of course after the recent events in SWA, some guys will jump ship but it’s the current market.
