I left NJA for SWA around six years ago. Despite the contract and management issues we're dealing with right now, there's not one single minute that I have regretted jumping ship and starting over. I was physically exhausted after every tour, and would need a day of recovery once I got home before I was useful for much.
At SWA, the pay is better, I'm not at work nearly as many days, and I'm not gone for a week at a time. My hardest days at SWA are still easier than an average day at NJA, without question. I'd highly recommend looking at the other majors as well.
And no FBO lost days, no catering requests, no papers ice coffee, no throwing bags, etc.
