I fly for a good charter company even though our management and union are squabbling and am home based. I have not had an invite from UA or DL or AA hence why I applied here. I seem to be reading mixed sentiments about SWA so I would like to hear people's opinons.
I can’t offer an opinion but I can offer my wisdom through a poem written my ChatGPT. I asked it to write a poem for a pilot deciding to come to Southwest and this is what it said;
A pilot sat with a heavy heart, Trying to decide where to start, His career was at a crossroads, And he had a choice to behold.
Southwest Airlines, a name renowned, A carrier with a culture unbound, A place where pilots were treated right, And their work was a source of pride.
But other options, he had to weigh, With higher pay and more holidays, The benefits were hard to ignore, But his heart wanted something more.
He dreamed of flying with a smile, And making passengers' trips worthwhile, Of being part of a team so bright, Where safety and fun go hand in hand, alright!
He thought of Southwest's heart and soul, The LUV they spread, making others whole, And how they treated employees so well, Like family, not just a number to tell.
So, with a deep breath, he made his choice, He decided to join Southwest's voice, To be part of a team that made him glad, And together, make flying not just a job but a journey, rad!
For he knew that in Southwest Airlines, He'd find his wings and soar to new heights, And he'd be proud to call it his home, A place where pilots could truly roam
