SWA pilots are getting calls for interviews from legacies within 30 days of applying/updating their application with SWA in some cases. Longest I’ve heard of in recent history was 7 months. Average seems to be about 90 days. If you’re serious about going to the legacies and aren’t getting called, go to SWA as a stepping stone and if you end up falling in love with it, stay.
Recent newhire at DL said when his class of 52 were polled a few weeks ago, 6 had either currently worked at SWA already, or had CJO's and impending class dates at SWA.
