except it’s not up to Buttigieg, the DOT, the DOJ, and what ever state have filed lawsuits or any other politicians.
right now it’s up to a Republican appointed judge. he doesn’t even have to send it to trial by jury if he doesn’t want to.
He can end it in Summary Judgment if he wants to, come this October.
and if somebody else wants to appeal… well they won’t…because they would even have less success with that.
and if mayor Buttigieg still thinks he can block the merger using the DOT’s authority he will be held in contempt.
