If Flexjet told me, "you can live at any of the domiciles and work mostly 4 day rotations with some longer trips in there occasionally" I would probably stay for my entire career because they have nearly everything else that I want (home based, pretty good pay, international flying opportunities, safe, modern, positive space commute, minimal "reserve", fast upgrade, good vacation, pilots are taken care of on the road, no 24/7 on call, etc...almost perfect, hence why I am here). Now, I understand this is not efficient for the company. But neither is training up a pilot and having them leave after a month or two, or not having enough pilots to meet the demand. They're going to have to pay up one way or another. Give me a mostly 4/4 schedule from any domicile and I am set. Heck, if they needed me to make up for some of that lost efficiency by having me work an 8 or 9 day rotation once a quarter in exchange for this, that would be fine.
I'd also say they should meet or exceed NetJets domicile list. If someone is comparing Flexjet to NetJets and they live in a domicile only offered by NetJets, guess where they're going? By massively expanding their list of domiciles, not only is Flexjet opening the door to more pilots, they could be siphoning off pilots from their competitor. Seems like a pretty good deal to me.
Before I get raked over the coals, those are just my own personal preferences. I am not chasing the biggest paycheck, WB flying, easy flying and a flight attendant bringing me coffee, or the biggest direct contribution. Anyone who wants those things WILL bail the moment Delta or whoever calls (I don't expect Flexjet could ever compete in the aforementioned areas), so a 4/4 schedule here probably wouldn't make a difference to most people anyways. But thats what would do it for me.
