It's just that instead of crediting 5-6 hours per day, you'll get trips that credit 4:12 per day. That distinction is important for outsiders who think there is any direct correlation between monthly credit awards and days worked. While in the past we could get away with working shorter trips, now that pretty much everything is a 3- or 4-day trip (despite base surveys which clearly portray demand for shorter trips), everyone is working about 18 days per month regardless of what their line credit is.
Agreed. He'll typically be working way more than 14 days a month.
