It'll either be really good for us or really bad for us. Things definitely won't stay status quo. Only time will tell. We will have to wait and see what the details of the merger are. Will they combine wholly-owned carriers (Comair, Mesaba and Compass), will they dump contract carriers (Pinnacle, Republic, etc..)? Who knows? Lots of variables to take into account with hubs, route overlap, aircraft types, seniority integration issues, company control, etc.

I tend to think that it may not be a good thing for us as Comair, but we will have to wait and see. Selvaggio seems to think we will be okay (per the latest conference call), but that may just be corporate rhetoric.
