Might I remind you that 10 years ago United was THE premiere airline to work for. Widebody flying from the got-go? They were putting new hires into the 747-400 based in Honolulu and you would have jumped at the chance to work for them. Especially after they got that HUGE contract in 2000.

I think you would be better served by realizing that nothing in this business remains the same.

I'm reminded of a s/o I flew with who in the early 60's left American for a chance to fly for Braniff (The first one)....
