Well, he said "FO Position". Not sure what's going on, but Lynden doesn't hire into the FE seat as a pathway to a pilot position. Lynden FEs are PFE's. The FE candidates have either previous FE experience or mechanics from within the company with significant C-130 maintenance experience. In theory, Lynden could hire a pilot with a commercial certificate and an instrument rating into the FE seat, but it would be an extraordinary departure from the hiring philosophy of the previous 2 decades.
