So If you can hold 757 Captain with the same QOL before and after the merger whats the problem?

The problem would be that I'm being mixed in with Pilots that were hired a full 5-7 years after I was. Also the UAL types hired in 1997 would be pulling gear for CAL guys hired 5-7 years behind them.
