If he is worried about the paycheck and job, go to EDV and wait for the F9 class and just leave.
I think he should read any agreement he signed with Frontier as a part of his cadet program (if there is any) and see if accepting employment with another airline would affect his status as a Frontier cadet before showing up to his Endeavor class.
