Exactly. If you go to the regional owned by the major you want to get hired by, they are not inclined to hire outside of flow. That will delay your getting hired by several years. If you go to work for a regional owned by another major, you will get hired faster. They are not afraid to “steal” pilots from the other airline’s regional.
