Alpa already did agree to the first concessionary AIP slid across the table. Membership had to step up and fix it. A good chunk of the people involved with TA1 are still in ALPA roles.
I’ve been happy with the direction we’ve gone in the past 3 months or so but I wouldn’t say I’m happy with ALPA overall after the TA1 ****show.
You should direct your anger to the side of the table offering industry lagging deals, saying agreeing to a single additional work rule enhancement will break the airline. While then simultaneously boasting about record profits/bookings, and giving the CEO a $6 million bonus the second we become profitable again.
As for age 67, as I said in the other thread, if it passes there will be a time where pilots are working at age 65-67 while the bottom of the seniority list is on furlough. Every pilot should have a moral issue with this regardless of their current age.
