My point was only towards the person to which I replied. There aren’t a lot of those who voted for it, so getting rid of “them” doesn’t really do much.
& my point is that while the actual yes voters are few, there are many more who
would have voted yes had the company not implicitly encouraged them to vote no on the promise that a “Delta plus” contract would quickly follow.
So although actual yes voters make up only 6%, the mentality of accepting a lousy offer for expediency’s sake is far more prevalent than that. Don’t get me wrong- I think we’re on the right track making necessary cultural changes. I just think it’s a false assumption that a 94% no vote indicates a group that’s 94% unified; considering the circumstances.
