FDO is really irrelevant for the most part in global reserve. But they can and roll you into days off even in other bases for RDO. This past week I was rolled 4 days into days off into a trip that was made up for to be in another domicile (DH front and back). I didn’t get compensation but somehow I was the one least affected. I knew it could happen when I made the bid, I am hoping it changes in this contract.
for people saying reserve isn’t a big item for them, it still affects you even if you aren’t on reserve. The less trips are coverable by reserves the more premium there will be for lineholders.
… & more reassignments too. Any changes to our reserve NH slave ship need to be accompanied by complementary iron clad language in our reassignment
rules. I’m not talking about compensation for reassignments, but the things that prevent reassignments in the first place. Under the current book, less reserves available=more reassignments .
