That’s only true if the can’t just reassign us more. And based on the latest update, our reassignment rule improvements don’t explicitly do that. So it’s just robbing Peter to pay Paul. It’s short-sighted, in my opinion, to improve reserve to the extent that it degrades lineholder schedules, where people will spend the vast majority of their career.
You might be surprised at how many senior bidders bid reserve by choice when the reserve is good enough to do so. It's good for
all bidders when there is more choice for everyone. But more importantly, for every senior bidder that bids reserve, there is one more junior bidder who gets a line - not to mention that there are more trips available lower which
enhances lineholder schedules. Frankly, I submit it's short-sighted NOT to improve reserve.
