Not necessarily, in fact probably not. Especially since age 67 will probably be embedded in some large bill with a lot of stakeholders (that's how they get things done, while ensuring the pork gets distributed widely).
The bill would not pass congress in the first place without dem support, so a veto would repudiate some of his own party. That kind of thing does happen occasionally but it's rare and reserved only for really sensitive issues.
If both houses of congress were red, then yeah he'd veto anything and everything.

IDK why you guys are so worried about this? The legacy airlines don't even want this. One of the few things that ALPA and management are actually aligned on. Do you guys really think with sims already to capacity that they are going to allow this to pass when it would break the back of the training center with all the extra sim time needed for those 65 and 66 to go back to flying NB.
