I haven't worked for either but just some general advice I can think of off the top of my head:
NJ:
- doing a lot more than just flying the plane (luggage, catering, planning, greeting pax, etc)
- you get to keep your hotel points
- you will fly to places the airlines dont
- higher end clientele
- destinations are unpredictable
- longer rotations than EDV generally
- per diem is likely better
EDV:
- predictable schedule once off reserve
- you dont get to keep hotel points
- you don't have to deal with luggage, planning, catering, pax, etc
- shorter rotations generally than EDV
- per diem is likely worse
