That makes no sense … it has nothing to do with Delta being a competitor … in fact raising a competitors expenses actually serves American better. And what’s with the “we all know Delta would lead the pack” defeatist mentality… all majors should be “rowing” together. It was just American pilots again not raising the bar for the industry and Ambrosi pointing it out is not petty. This industry has always patterned up and down with contracts. Again … American leapfrogs on the down cycles and doesn’t match on the upward contract cycles. It’d be nice if we all worked together … especially on an upward contract cycle because we never know when it’ll end. If APA membership accepts this tactic, so be it but no one should be offended when it’s pointed out.
