Yes I agree that what they did was legal. But we gave up something (April rebid) and expected something in return. Quid pro quo. The Company clearly telegraphed they were going to offer 55 hour SILs as the quo. So yes the wording of the LOA was squishy enough for them to be legal to not do it. I fault ALPA’s legal team for that part. But why the heck would we have given the quid if everyone wasn’t expecting the quo? “We didn’t think they would do that.”
