Figured this was as good as anywhere considering he's likely steering the ship on lack of hiring. DTW320B has a guy currently flying GS#2 (3-day) that has already flown QS#7. They have a handful of guys on QS#5 and 6, and plenty on #3 and 4. They're having to use IAs a fair amount as well. I recently flew an easy turn that sat in open time for about 12 hours on both sides. They had no reserves and couldn't get anyone to take it as a QS, so they had to reroute TWO first officers to do the turn. One of them was illegally rerouted which made turned 4-day QS into a 5 day QS. ...well stafffed!

Ya, once QS 1 hits, it's a long trek to QS#2 in some categories. Meanwhile DTW320B just had another guy hit QS#7 lol.
I didn't take his post as complaining as much as painting a different picture in his seat.

We're not on the beach the tsunami is heading for. Asia is in line for a direct hit with Europe second. US and Russia benefit from immediate oil exports with Saudi Aramco, ExxonMobil, Shell, Chevron and Gazprom leading the way. Gulf states will see their importance diminish and along with them the significance of subsidized ME3 air carriers.
