Agreed. UAL got rid of delay coding entirely about 2 years ago. It didn’t cause the place to implode. It would be refreshing to see DAL do the same.
Our management team is so obsessed with avoiding 3 or 4 minute D0 delays that they easily lose sight of the larger issues in our operation that often turn into multi-hour delays or cancellations.
