Concerning furloughs, when I got hired by major before FedEx I was told we all would make Capt. in 3 years, instead I was furloughed in 3 years.
Wake Up people! If the company needs/wants to furlough I don’t care what we have in the contract it’s going to happen. That’s the Airline industry like it or not.
I truly hope it never happens here at FedEx but just a reality check.

Maybe guys like cloudsailor would prefer to read each section of the agreement in it entirety instead of having someone spoon feed them someone else's intended interpretation. I've been listening for years to "I'm not an attorney how am I expected to understand this". Make the effort because it matters.
