Do these APD's have blackout dates for holidays? Or is it just assumed that there won't be 25% of the "required" coverage on holidays? Thinking more memorial day weekend, rather than Christmas or something like that.

there are 9 holidays spelled out in the contract. the 25% rule does not apply to any trip that touches the 2 days before or 1 day after each holiday.
To add to GF post, it simply says an APD "may" be denied during those days, not that it will be. I've had trips dropped over those days and know others who've gotten Christmas off with an APD. I wouldn't expect it to happen all the time, but put it in and let it ride, it may randomly drop as the date approaches.
