Question I have (tablet is not with me) is if I yellow slip a trip reporting at say 1600 on day 1, do I still have no backup required? Everything else in open time is a Turdburger, but not so much of a turdburger that I want to do get up at 4am to try for the 6am RJ.
Not a lawyer, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night...
PWA 23.S.2.a says "
assigned a rotation"...
PWA 23.S.2.a.5 note 3 states: "A commuting pilot
assigned a rotation under Section 23 S. 2. a. 5) will be considered to have complied with any requirement under a Company or PWA commuter policy to book a backup flight"
PWA 23.A.70.a (yellow slip) says "become first in sequence for
assignment"
I would say the no back up applies if YS'ing on day 1
