Thats a problem that's been happening long before recent times. When they're flush with pilots, they find ways to bust people, when they're bust they let everyone train at their own pace. When I was a new hire there many years ago, they were failing people for not having the non memory items memorized on the immediate action items checklist. If you do the work, you'll pass but they were still by far the the most in-depth training problem I've completed. They definitely instilled good and rigorous study habits for future courses I've completed and made AQP airlines that much easier.
