Amazon Air (NASDAQ: AMZN) has agreed to lease 10 used A330-300s aircraft, retrofitted for carrying cargo containers on the main deck, from Seattle-based Altavair. It also contracted with Hawaiian Airlines (NASDAQ: HA), which has had the A330 passenger plane in its fleet for a dozen years, to operate the freighters on its behalf.

Cargo Aircraft Management (CAM), the leasing arm of Air Transport Services Group (ATSG), is looking to place its upcoming A330P2Fs with lessees including DHL Express as it begins its Airbus medium-widebody conversions later in 2023. ATSG confirmed to Cargo Facts that CAM expects to lease at least “some” A330-300P2Fs to DHL through 2026.

ASL Aviation Holdings, a large provider of air transport in Europe for global express delivery companies, will lease ATSG’s first two A321-200 narrowbody freighters in the second half of the year, with a third aircraft scheduled for delivery in 2023. The airline will also receive two A330 retrofitted freighters in 2024.

Looks to me like all 10 330s for Hawaiian's Amazon deal are coming from Altavair, which is not CAM.
