My opinion...Most low cost carriers that will compete against the 737 or 717 with an A320 are doomed to fail in the long run...The immediate costs are low, but the direct operating costs over the long term are higher for the bus. Air Tran showed it to Jet Blue and caused Jet Blue to bail from the ATL market...Frontier is starting to see it too. Why is Ryan kick'n butt over in Europe?...Maybe because they fly 737-800's? I think Virgin America will get off the ground, but will see red if they fly against the Boeing low cost carriers...And for the payscale...Branson has always been known to have the LOWEST in the industry.
