Assigned trip at 0500 that has a 12hr duty day and starts at 1900.
It was assigned during SC, but has adequate rest but is more than the max RAP+FDP but less than the 18hr LC call-out. This is an illegal assignment?
Completely illegal. Your status at the report time of the trip determines the type of assignment it is. Your SC ends at 0500 and at report time of 1900 you are a LC pilot and thus require the 18 hour LC notification.
If scheduling wants you to report at 1900 they would have to cut your SC period short to end at 0100, giving you proper 18 hour LC notification.
