Until you’re where you want to be, the rest is just a hustle. You owe no corporation anything because they trained you. Period

In another scenario I flew with a newish FO who spent 5 years at FDX and then came to DL. He felt obligated to FDX because they hired him and trained him. Unhappy and miserable the entire time. Had he come to DL in 2017-2018 he would be about 55-58% company wide on the list right now. Instead he just finished year one and is 14k deep on the list.

Get to where you want to be, have a good attitude, and enjoy the journey. You owe no regional airline any type of moral contract.
yup. Imagine thinking you owe a company anything. It’s a business transaction. If ZW could harm you in a similar way for profit they would in a heartbeat. The regionals exploited labor for years. This isn’t letting a friend down or showing loyalty to family. It’s simple business, and if that means getting a bunch of training and then punching out to a major before you make them a dime then that’s smart business.
