ZW had a no furlough clause yet had no problem furloughing when they’d felt the need.

Its kind of like the corporate aviation world, the good programs don’t need training contracts.

They are a stepping stone and know/rely on that to maximize the number of people on the lower end of the pay scale. I literally heard a CEO (not ZW) say as much when trying to get senior pilots to support a TA.
