I agree, but not only shouldn't it be bypassed but in the situations where it contractually can not be bypassed it should be respected, which is one thing scheduling seems to forget about. Like twice today I know about two pilots handed out trips out of seniority that had to call the union to have them taken off the line. Scheduling is running unsupervised and in clear violation of contract rules!
