I hear there is a shortage of sim time for the bigger jets.

if you buy a brand new G650 or global express, does the manufacturer help get your pilots typed in a timely manner or is that all on you as the owner to figure out?

Just curious…. I have a buddy that may become a big shot in a few years and has always joked that I would be his pilot. I’d advise him to just use a frac instead of buying or whatever, but I’m not the one to know.
The purchase agreement has training included. The one I know of is 3 pilots and 1 tech. Now, the training centers are massively overbooked, getting dates can be hard, but a new owner has a lot of leverage to get slots.

If the plane is flying over 200 hours a year, own it, not fracs, cheaper. And you have complete control even if thru a management company.
