It's a few years out of date now as I left FSI in 2020 but back then the hourly rate was for any billable hours ground or sim that you spent with a client including briefing time etc. There was also a program in place where full timers were salaried but made hourly bonuses based on amount of time spent instructing during the month (over 75 hrs was paid at I think $40/hr and over 90 was like $75/hr - those numbers are likely wrong as I can't remember the threshold nor the bonus payments anymore but you get the general idea) No idea if they still operate that way.
