Thanks for the update. Clearly their business plan is failing. Interesting how they continue to advertise the 50-plane fleet expanding to 74. I would surmise that as a misrepresentation of the facts (lying) as to the present state of the airline. The number of planes flying full time sounds like it is somewhere around 15-20. They should update the business plan even if it requires that they tell the truth. Anyone who has been involved with TSH in any aspect knows they are not very adept at that skill.
To what do you primarily attribute the low number of planes flying? A lot of regionals are flying less because they cannot get the number of pilots (read that captains) they need.
Skywest head is quoted as saying they are short 1200 pilots.
