Raise awareness to who exactly? The company knows the info and doesn’t care, they are loosing money and it’s not due to pilot attrition. Labor costs and high fuel costs combined with low revenue. People want to fly first class and they want to fly internationally. We don’t provide those right now except south of the border which is not the money making international flying I’m talking about. You can kick and scream all you want, but replacing the MEC won’t do anything. I can’t believe you would think that would matter.

Put yourself in TC’s position. He already raised pilot pay once to stem attrition. If it didn’t help then why would he raise pay again?

All a new MEC can do is ASK for more money. That’s it.

I get that you’re upset, but I think you’re focusing on the wrong end of the formula. If you want a fast change in your situation the best thing as others have said is to leave and go elsewhere. If you want to stick it out here, I do fully think it will get better, but it’s not a quick fix and replacing the MEC going into a merger is irresponsible and selfish in my view.
