Agree. I had a similar situation over the summer. I was on an off day with LC reserve starting the next day. I had been assigned a RSV rotation for day 1 of RES, but not notified yet.

Nearly simultaneous to the RSV assignment, ARCOS called for a same day GS trip. Scheduling called shortly after the ARCOS response timed ended, and I appeared to be the most senior that responded. They were calling about the RSV assignment (why they called in an off day for a such an assignment I have no idea). They told me “the GS was awarded to someone junior as it would a GS with conflict for me.” That seemed wrong but I was out enjoying my day off. After a few mins, I called back for clarification, and was awarded the GS.

Never hurts to call when something doesn’t make
sense.
